Corporate Yoga

The benefits of yoga are many especially for staff who work long hours and tend to sit for most of the day. Yoga will energize your mind and body and rejuvenate your whole being. But people of today work long hours and often have no time for recreation, and with KL traffic being congested at peak hours, going for classes becomes too difficult.

Corporate Wellness programs are fast becoming a valued part of US organisations at an ever-increasing pace.  Not only are companies acknowledging the benefits of wellness programs, they are actively implementing programs that will enhance employee productivity and morale.  And it makes good business sense as well!  Work related stress could ultimately effect a company’s financial statement.  It is noted that job related stress has cost American businesses well over $250 billion dollars a year in employee turnover, accidents, absentee-ism, diminished productivity and low morale.

One of the major challenges facing employers today is maintaining a staff that is both motivated and genuinely content with the working environment.  Employees spend over half of their lives on the job.  Through wellness programs, we would like to give employees the opportunity to rejuvenate and relax during their lunch hour or after work and are offering onsite yoga classes.

Corporate Yoga Programs will benefit you and your staff through Stress Reduction! Yoga balances all the systems in the body, toning the nervous system, releasing anxiety and promoting inner harmony. Students will learn various breathing techniques to use in daily situations, along with yoga postures to relieve back discomfort by strengthening, stretching and relaxing the muscles.

If you're in HR and trying to determine if yoga will appeal to your organization, do a survey or invite a yoga teacher in for a lunchtime seminar. The attendance at the seminar will help you gauge the desire for future classes. Some companies subsidize the classes and pay half, while others provide the space and let employees pay at a reduced fee per person / per class.
