The Sun Yoga Prenatal Yoga is a comprehensive course on understanding conception, the pregnancy progress, delivery room yoga and post-natal recovery. It is part of the holistic birthing program that Dr. Jacqueline Koay has been developing with partners in the gynecological and obstetrics fields (please refer to document downloadable here), based on her own professional and personal experiences.
This is an intensively scientific course that will equip participants to teach prenatal yoga safely by providing a very strong grounding in anatomy and physiology. You will learn the whole spectrum of this joyous process, from: pre-conception care, to prenatal yoga, to delivery- room yoga, to birth partner yoga, to postnatal support. The teaching materials are all derived from work done in maternity hospitals and benefitted greatly from input from practising gynaecologists.
